Bone modeling for customized hybrid biological prostheses development

چکیده
Faithful modeling of the femur accounting for bone distribution and material orthotropic behavior is presented. In this study, a biofidel Finite Element Model (FEM) has been developed from Computerized Tomography (CT) scans using specific combination software’s to correctly represent physiology structural behavior. Proper identification trabecular arrangement in proximal diaphysis enabled definition properties. The faithful model proposed allows us account non-isotropic properties end explaining critical role played by that should be taken into design new innovative prosthetic system.
